Celtic Christmas Spirit by Caroline Peyton on Green Hill is unlike any Christmas album, or even Celtic Christmas recording, you have ever heard before. There are four songs sung in the ancient Irish Gaelic language, two in Latin, one in English and the rest in a "wordless ethereal scat" simply using vocal sounds. The songs are mostly very old compositions (some date back hundreds and hundreds of years) from the earliest days of Christianity in Ireland. The albm captures a Christmas spirit, but because of the Gaelic, Latin and wordless vocals, the recording can be enjoyed year-round as simply an extraordinary musical excursion
ESTEBAN RAMIREZ
"There are many pianists out there who have razzle-dazzle styles using lots of notes and rapid arpeggios, but that's not where my heart is," explains Los Angeles-based musician Esteban Ramirez, who has released his second national album, Welcome Home, on the Descanso Music label. "My spirit leads me to quiet music where not every little space is filled."

Music is very multi-dimensional. It can lead you by the hand to an inner consciousness, or it can give you a glimpse of another part of the universe. It can be a transporter beam to other worlds, or it can simply wash over you like a gentle spring rain. It's up to listeners to decide how they want to use it." 2 C.D.'s, (Melts me)

Now there is an album capturing a wide spectrum of our planet's sounds. It's Worldbeat by David Lyndon Huff on the Green Hill Productions label.
