He rushed so quickly across the road in front of me that I had only a glimpse. It seemed so strange to me that at two o'clock in the afternoon, he would appear, racing from nowhere. I pulled my breath in at the very beauty of the scene in front of me and stopped my car immediately. Although it was a fleeting passage, the memory held fast. Large, extremely large, larger than my small little blue Honda. The color grey was vibrant and vivid. An alive grey, yes, that's it. Grey to blend with the season of the year for protection. Grey to move freely. Grey; the message of more wisdom to come from the Universe. Ever present, always in movement and growing to new levels of working with the Masters on the other side of the veil.

This large, magnificent buck presented himself unexpectedly. How often the miracles show up unannounced. Head held high and proud, with antlers too many to count in the quick run across my residential street, I thanked God for the viewing of the essence of the infinite power of the untamed. Spirit had allowed me a moment in time to be one with nature. This presence of power was a reminder to me of all the Universe has made available to assist mankind on their journey of Divine purpose.

In remembering my momentary pleasure of watching this powerful buck race across the street, it was important to remember the message. Spirit does have an uncanny way of stopping us in the mundane dance of life to give us simple directions. We race through life trying to find the way. The way is already in front of us. We need only to let our instincts show us the way.

Real power comes from freedom. The soul knows where it needs to go to be free. Can we stop a racing buck from reaching his destination? Can we go to the raging waters of a river and yell, "stop, I need to reflect on quiet water? Can we ask the stars to stop moving, the earth to stop rotating, our heart to stop beating?

The question for you is this, why would you want to control nature? Why then would you want to control the Universal aspect of power in your own experience of life? Why do you deny yourself the freedom the soul seeks for you, as a human, to grow? Life is an exploration. It is a gift from the Universe to be tasted, to be experienced, to be lived in a whole relationship or co-partnership with the Divine.

Co-existing with Spirit is a dance of freedom where all powers lie. We think we are in control of our lives. Why are there times that we feel everything is out of control? Spirit flows gently and powerfully within and around us. Like the sweeping wind of nature that guided the mighty buck to a yet unknown place, by releasing fear and control, we gain the utmost gifts of the Universe.
