YEAR OF ALIGNMENT 1998 by Beatrex Quntanna

It's a good idea to use numerology in order gain greater insight and understanding in any situation that requires definition, especially when the process of name identification has been reduced to initials. Numerology takes the sound resonance vibration of each letter and assigns it a number. The letters are then converted into numbers and this creates a formula for interpretation. So when I was asked to do this article on the spiritual meaning of the Y2K, I thought that we could begin here.

Y in numerology is a #9. 9 is the number of completion! I find it rather intriguing, knowing that we are in fact completing many important cycles. We are completing an Astrological Age, a two thousand-year cycle. We are completing the millennium, thousand year cycle. We are completing a century and a decade, cycles within cycles all completing themseives in one day.

The number 9 asks us to look at humanitarian concepts and connect our hearts to community. 9 also asks us to add to the quality of our life by considering the spiritual perspective to our experience, to bring deeper meaning and larger connection to the concerns of the masses. In fact the Y2K potential asks us to do just that. All the Task Forces are asking us to create community by getting to know our neighbors. They are also asking us to be sensitive and to be prepared, to have faith and to not panic:

The #2 in numerology asks us to look at both sides of a situation, to stay balanced, to gather facts and opinions, to determine good decision making. The number 2 is also the number for polarity and for paradox for when we can blend our opposites then and only then can we have unity. The Y2K Potential Asks us not to panic, yet be prepared a paradox in itself. This Y2K potential also asks us to gather facts about our cars, our computers, our systems, our water, our power, our sewer to determine where we are in this situation and how to proceed.

We are also being told to gather opinions from the experts in the High Tech World, as well as the Survivalist World another interesting paradox. We are asked to question Authority, the principals of completion in the Picean Age. We are also being asked to become Self Reliant, one of the first principals of the Aquarian Age. It is amazing to watch and see how the number 2 is holding the space for both situations to occur simultaneously. We are humans being shown our choices if Y2K does or does not happen.

K in numerology is a # 10. The number 10 asks us to have a vision. We need to know and be aware that the vision we hold for the Y2K, or any situation, for that matter, can affect the whole. Are we holding the vision of the Doomsday visionaries "promoting the end of the world? Or do we hold the vision for innovation and invention to come forward and create a device that can cure the problem? With all the High Tech Geniuses on the planet today it would be a great idea to hold the vision of our future, to have this device invented As soon as possible. .1999 is a I0 year in numerology so we see an entire year totally set up energetically for this invention to occur. It's our choice as humankind to hold the space for creation or, chaos...

When you add up the 9 + 2 + 10 =21 = 3 you get what is known as the overall energy. The overall energy surrounding the Y2K is a 3. 3 is the number of creativity. The Y2K energy is asking us to become creative. Think about this for a minute if all the systems fail, including money what would we have left? ... Creativity.
