My wife and I were at a wonderful dinner party last week There were only eight of us and everyone knew each other- or so we thought!

The party conversation twisted and turned as we laughed and caught up on all the news. Suddenly, perhaps timelessly, the eight people formed something Now, eight is found in many disciplines; sacred Geometry, music, numerology, chemistry, Tarot, etc. All these energies were running through our forms, bodies and energy fields, also. Lights, colors, symbols, pictures and fire were all happily dancing around the eight of us... Talk about manifestation!

The sense of ceremony and sacred space was as clear as a bell, and yes, there were bells ringing, too. No one talked. We enjoyed just "being."

By the fireplace was a 300 hundred year old marble statue of a man holding a fig leaf over his creative chakra. He looked mythological, and was also collecting a little dust. Quite suddenly all the lights, colors, symbols, pictures and the fire itself - seemed absorbed by the statue. Just as I realized we were experiencing an ever greater sense of sacred space, the marble statue turned into a man. He gently placed the marble leaf on the mantel above the fireplace and smiled. He swallowed- pointed to his throat and walked into the kitchen.

We just stared at each other not believing what had just transpired.Before we could voice our disbelief, he came back into the room with a glass of water, and spoke:

"Greetings and blessings to you,
I know each of you and each of you know me. In your quiet time you will deeply remember what I am about to say.

Each of you is a unique creator and a very unique creature, as are all beings. In aligning the eight chakras personally, you have all made possible the opportunity to align with the group of eight unique creators present. And with much help, and your love for one another, this is so.

Each alignment of the eight creates new life. The gift of the nine comes with alignment of the eight on each level; for instance; 8 chakras, 8 couples, 8 groups, 8 communities, 8 tribes, 8 nations, planets, universes, and so on. All creation/creators can align from the individual level through limitless creation. With all this comes the gift of the new, the ninth aspect."

He smiled and slowly backed up to the fireplace - looked to the east and turned to stone. Simultaneously the marble fig leaf and figs became green and ripe.
